As noted in previous articles we have posted, everyone has to be aware of the potential of elder abuse to a loved one. In an article written by Majorie Cortez, on KSL.com, April, 15, 2015, she reports on charges being filed against two men for allegedly abusing a 73 year old man, locking him in his bedroom and depriving him of food. Neighbors and friends are urged to keep a vigilant watch over elderly neighbors and friends and report any suspected elder abuse to Adult Protective Services at 1-800-371-7897.
