Zachary Christensen, of Council
Zachary Christensen attended Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelors of Science in Business Management with an emphasis in international finance graduating magna cum laude. After working for the BYU Alumni Association for two years he pursued a legal education at the University of Denver. During law school he participated in a study abroad in Florence, Italy and Vienna, Austria. Zachary spent a semester in Rome working with UNIDROIT (an intergovernmental organization working to the unification of private international law) performing research on how the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods treaty has been implemented in the United States and in Western Europe. Zachary also worked with the Midvale City Justice Court as a judicial intern and student lawyer. He prosecuted 7 cases on behalf of the city with an 86% conviction rate.
During Zachary’s third year of law school he worked for Lockheed Martin as a legal intern and law clerk. He worked on various projects including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, implied indemnification, government contracts, construction contracts, intellectual property, mergers/divestitures, and informed consent with human test subjects. Zachary also worked with terms and conditions with various contracts and negotiated several multi-million dollar contracts.
Zachary has also served as chief legal officer and corporate counsel to DeVelo Tallent, LLC, where he has performed a variety of legal functions including incorporation, organization, and contract negotiation.
